Yes. Set OBS_API_KEY in the environment and every command authenticates without a prompt. Pass --json on any command and the exit code reflects success or failure, so your pipeline can branch on it.
Yes. The CLI was designed with agents in mind. obs templates list and obs schema <resource> let an agent discover the resource catalog offline. obs validate checks a generated payload before it hits the API. Every command supports --json for clean parsing.
Every --json command returns an object with status (SUCCESS or ERROR), data (the payload on success), and error (a structured message on failure). The shape is identical across commands, so one parser handles the whole CLI.
Yes. obs schema, obs templates list, obs validate, and obs init all work offline against bundled schemas. No login, no network call.
Yes. The CLI is free with every account, including the free plan. Your plan limits (runs, monitors, retention) apply the same way whether you use the dashboard or the terminal.
Yes. obs suite generate creates a suite from a URL. obs suite run triggers an execution and obs suite wait streams until it finishes. obs suite schedule and obs suite secrets manage the cron and credentials after creation, without regenerating the suite.
